who are you?
I'm Jesse Kanda, a 20 year old designer boy based in London. I came here to work for a company called Hi-ReS! but I'm originally from Kanagawa, Japan and Vancouver, Canada. I'm half & half.

what kind of work do you do, and whats your preference?
Mostly web which means everything else (design, video, 3D, photography, music, code, etc) at the same time as well. The broadness is nice.

what got you into design and how long have you worked in the field?
It was a hobby in highschool... I fell into it accidentally. I don't work in a field, I work in a studio.

whats the most interesting project you've worked on?
My own stuff. That's always the most interesting. If you meant for a client, probably Issey Miyake (which never went live) or Komakino's site. Most projects have "interesting" bits in them though... learning from them is what makes them fun.

any achievement that you're super proud of?
I'm proud of my stuff but I can do better.

your work is pretty experimental, what inspires you?
Maybe the limits. Playing with what's possible and what's not. What's acceptable and what's not. Just daring myself to do whatever idea that pops into my head. Why not?
